Describe:

Expanded ptfe Sheet  are made from 100% ptfe by a special process that produces a homogeneous and highly fibrinized microstructure containing a large number of multidirectional fibers.  These create a soft, pliable, but very tough gasket with good resistance to compression, creep relaxation and cold flow.  It can seal uneven and damaged flanges.  

 With the exception of liquid and gaseous molten alkali metals and fluorine, it has a general tolerance to common chemicals.  It is free of asbestos and other materials that invade the lungs, has no corrosion and can be stored without any time limit.
